Seahawks Face the Tough Ravens
With the Seahawks on this current losing streak, the Ravens aren't the ideal team to be playing. While they have suffered a couple defeats in which they looked pretty bad, I'm not sold that the Ravens team we'll be seeing Sunday will be that horrible team. With our luck, we will probably get the tough and hard Ravens. With that being said, there's still some ways that the Seahawks can do to give themselves a chance win this game.
1. Keep committing to the run
After barely focusing on the run two weeks ago, the Seahawks took my advice and stuck to the run game. In doing this, Marshawn Lynch was able to amass 135 yards rushing on the day. This was his highest total since joining the team last season. It was definitely nice to see him do so well. While it obviously was not enough to secure the win, getting 100+ rushing every week will go a long ways to helping keep the Seahawks in games.
2. Don't make costly, unnecessary mistakes
This one mainly goes for Tarvaris Jackson. Now, I wasn't able watch the game last week, but from what I've read and the little I've seen, he made some very costly mistakes. They were mistakes that could've been easily avoided, and could've shifted the outcome of the game drastically. If TJax can just settle down a bit, take his time, and make good decisions, he can try and keep the team in this game. He's not a horrible QB despite what some people have said, as we've seen in the Giants and Bengals games. He can just make some really dumb mistakes at times. If he works on that, he can be good for the Seahawks.
I've only got two keys to the game this week. I'm sure there's more, but these are the ones that I se as most important to the team this week. Feel free to add your own keys in the comments below.
Anyways, so the bottom line is that the Seahawks do have a chance to win this game. Most people will probably say that they don't have a chance, but I think the Seahawks have the ability to surprise us all and win this game. I still have to give my honest prediction on this game, however. I hope I'm wrong, but this is just my prediction.
Seahawks 17 - Ravens 24
